As usual, there were two main sessions of the Open Day: HTEC Tour, and Honeywell Science and Technology Knowledge Class. In the 1500 m2 experience center, our two experienced docents showed participants around the six immersive environments of transportation, industry, business, energy, home and corporate social responsibilities to let them experience the benefits brought by Honeywell technologies and explore the connectivity technologies.
In the Honeywell Science and Technology Knowledge Class, Scott Ke, HTSC Aero technical manager, introduced the aviation history and aerodynamics. He also taught the participants to make paper planes and held the first "HTEC Open Day" Paper Plane Competition. The teaching inspired the students a lot. Scott's research focuses on wheels and brakes, and environmental control system for commercial aircraft. The two teaching assistants also come from HTSC Aero team.
The next HTEC Open Day event will be held in August, 2019. Please stay tuned and follow the Honeywell China Official WeChat to get more information. We look forward to your participation!
