Green Factory | Honeywell UOP Zhangjiagang Factory
Established in 2014, Honeywell UOP Zhangjiagang plant is located in the Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Zone in Jiangsu Province with 150 employees.
The plant is equipped with advanced catalyst and adsorbent production line. Its products include catalysts for Honeywell's UOP Oleflex™ propane dehydrogenation process and the CCR Platforming™ process for the production of high-octane gasoline, UOP methanol-to-olefins (MTO) catalysts, as well as molecular sieve adsorbents used in refining, petrochemicals and natural gas processing applications.
Throughout the construction of this plant, strict measures were implemented to ensure zero discharge of phosphorus-containing industrial wastewater and the efficient utilization of general industrial solid waste. Since 2014, the Zhangjiagang plant has certified the carbon footprint for its main products, established several ISO management systems, and carried out more than 20 sustainability projects related to the recycling of production materials, equipment and emissions to optimize the plant's production process and achieve cost reduction, energy saving and consumption reduction.
The Zhangjiagang plant has received many awards over the years for its excellent performance and results. The company has been awarded "Zhangjiagang High-Quality Development Demonstration Enterprise", "Jiangsu Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Workshop", "Jiangsu Green Factory", "AEO Advanced Certification" and etc.

As a long-term practitioner and enabler of sustainable development, the Zhangjiagang plant actively responds to the "dual carbon" collaborating with Chinese partners to advance sustainable solutions and support local customers in navigating the low-carbon transition. This award shows that the plant's commitment and contribution to sustainable development is widely recognized.
